Randy C. Nielsen - Founder and Partner
Randy Nielsen is the founder of Public Concepts, LLC. For over twenty years, he has advised and represented numerous individuals, corporations, and trade associations in communication, politics, and public affairs.

Prior to founding Public Concepts in 1991, Nielsen served as the Governmental Affairs Director for the Home Builders and Contractors Association of Palm Beach County, and was the Political Director for The Florida Lawyers Action Group. In addition, he has held a vast range of positions in local, state, and federal campaigns, including campaign manager, finance director, and grassroots organization director.

Nielsen received a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Politics from Westminster College and resides in West Palm Beach, Florida with his wife Melanie and their four children.

 
 
Richard M. Johnston - Partner
Richard M. Johnston joined Public Concepts, LLC in 1993. Prior to joining the firm, Johnston graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in advertising, and subsequently directed a series of winning state and congressional campaigns. Johnston brings to the firm expanded technical and creative expertise, which has led to the development of over 30 million pieces of direct mail throughout Florida since 1996.

With Johnston also brings redistricting expertise to the firm having assisted in the drawing of district boundaries for both the legislature and local voter districts. for guidance and advice, numerous members of the Florida House and Senate were able to design redistricted legislative seats that resulted in a record number of Republicans being elected in 2002.

With over twenty years of political experience, he brings a keen understanding of marketing and advertising principles and their application to political campaigns. His work has been recognized and honored by The Wall Street Journal and the AAPC.

A native of West Palm Beach, his family has deep roots in Florida's business community dating back to the 1940's. He currently resides in Jupiter, Florida, with his wife Maureen and their three children.

 
 
Anthony Pedicini - Special Projects Director
Anthony Pedicini joined Public Concepts in 2002 after serving in the Florida House Majority Office as the Republican Conference Liaison. There, Anthony assisted members with their bills, research, and conference meetings. Prior to working in the Majority Office, he served as an aide for Florida Representative Gayle Harrell.

In 1998 and 1999, Pedicini served as the Student Director of Florida's nationally acclaimed anti-tobacco program, the "Truth" Campaign. Recruiting thousands of teenagers to be advocates, he conducted training activities around Florida that helped teens and their adult supporters become media savvy and powerful grassroots activists. In 1999, Pedicini organized the Truth Train, a 14-day public relations tour that received worldwide media attention.

During the 2004 election cycle, Pedicini advised the campaigns of numerous members of the Florida legislature including those of Florida Representatives Bill Galvano, Kevin Ambler, and Tom Anderson. Anthony earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the Florida State University.

 
 
Bryan Nelson - Director of Operations
Bryan Nelson graduated from the Florida State University with a degree in Political Science and Communications. During the 2004 election cycle, Bryan worked with the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers executing grassroots political strategies in both a highly contested State House race in Hillsborough County and a state ballot initiative in Northeast Florida. Bryan also worked for the Rubin Group as the governmental liaison before joining the Public Concepts team in May, 2005. He has political experience in ballot initiatives, grassroots organization, campaign management, voter identification, targeting, strategic communication, and project implementation.
